This product was a nice alternative to replacing batteries all of the time. Easy to use, and works pretty well. I've noticed that after I charge the product and turn off the charger, the batteries will use their charge if not used for a long time (meaning I noticed it after not playing for several weeks), which may be typical? Either way, for those who play often, this is a good, affordable choice.

After two months of good use, I've come to the conclusion that this product does not perform well. While the idea & the design are very nice, the quality of the product just doesn't cut it. Even though I charged the batteries fully and allowed them to die several times, the life of the battery wasn't very long lasting. In fact, I think it takes longer to charge than it actually lasts! I bought this product in hopes of saving money, but because I've been forced to charge them so frequently, I think I've spent more money on the electricity bill. I would not recommend this product because it's really a hit or miss. And with the way money goes around these days, I'd rather not take my chances.

This charger system is great...while it works. My first battery had the flex terminal connector break off on the 2nd use. I tried emailing nyko to get a replacement but never heard back from them. I'll try calling them today. The other battery has worked well for the first six months. It was great; you can charge it with or without the jacket or the Wii Motion Plus attached. The charging color is blue while the full color is green...not the most intuitive color scheme but doable. Really like that it has its own AC plug as well as offering a second plug on the back of its AC plug so effectively you don't lose an AC outlet plugging this in. Sadly almost six months to the day after I got this system the second battery won't charge. The light just stays green but the Wii Remote never turns on. This charging system is great when it works but at $30 every six months, i'll take my money elsewhere unless Nyko customer support does something about my failed batteries.

My wife and I bought this charger to save money on batteries, since we have three people using the Wii every day. The thing works well for us, and our batteries haven't gone bad except for the one that I dropped. I dropped the battery on the floor and it won't work, which is not a problem for me since it's my fault. HOWEVER, I contacted the company from their own web site links and haven't received any response at all after several weeks. All I wanted to know was whether or not I could get a replacement battery for the induction charger since I couldn't find one online. They could have at least responded in some way. Since then, I've heard other people mention the same thing. I won't buy anything with this brand name on it again, but it won't matter because they already got my money and they sell enough to so many others that they don't have to care about one guy -- and they know it.

I've bought this last december and it works great. Easy to use, my 5yo boy can manage do charge his wii controls. I recomend!
